Below are a range of external resources including helplines and websites where you can find information and support about issues relating to safeguarding. 

NSPCC Child Protection Helpline: 0808 800 5000 (lines free and open 24 hours)

Action on Elder Abuse Helpline: 0808 808 8141 (free phone Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm)

NAPAC (National Association for People Abused in Childhood): 0808 801 0331 (free phone, 10am - 9pm Monday to Thursday & 10am - 6pm on Friday)

Phone if you are an adult survivor of childhood abuse and would like support and advice.

Stop It Now! Helpline: 0808 1000 900 (9am - 9pm Monday to Thursday and from 9am - 5pm on Friday)

Family Lives Helpline: 0808 800 222 (free from landline and most mobiles, 9am – 9pm Monday to Friday and 10am – 3pm Saturday and Sunday)

MACSAS Helpline: 0808 801 0340 (free phone, Saturdays 9.00am - 11.30am and Wednesdays 7.00pm - 9.30pm)

Cruse Bereavement Care Helpline: 0808 808 1677 (free phone, Monday to Friday 9.30am - 5pm (excluding bank holidays), with extended hours on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, when lines are open until 8pm.)
